The Inspiration Behind Our Trust
A story of selfless love and humanity
Shanti Dehdan Charitable Trust (SDC TRUST) was established by Shri Khushal Chandra Sahu, inspired by the final wish of his life partner Bodhisattva Shanti Sahu. In her last moments, she expressed her desire to donate her entire body for medical education and human welfare, setting an exemplary precedent in humanity.
In accordance with her wishes and adhering to the principles of education, equality, and compassion, this Trust was established to promote medical education, human welfare, body donation, organ donation, and public awareness thereof.
The founder, Khushal Chandra Sahu, donated a cash amount of ₹10,000/- and has pledged to donate his entire body and organs after his death, continuing the legacy of selfless service.
